Despite yesterday’s incident, I am back to take a second shot at the morning coffee. If more eye trauma occurs, it could conceivably be my last.

This silly US Senate crisis over Roland Burris appears to finally be over. I still have no idea how the Senate felt it was OK not to allow a legally-appointed Senator to be sworn in. That would set a precedent empowering government not to allow democratically-elected members.
Do you understand Freakonomics continued obsession with buying organs? I’m not sure I do. And I cannot imagine any court ever actually considering a demand for the “return” of a donated organ.
