The NHS has a new tactic in fighting obesity — sexercise! I suppose this means that their Change 4 Life campaign is not working. Sex it is!

Also: Displaying a complete lack of understanding of how the Internet works, British charities are demanding that child pornography is blocked on the Internet. Are you serious? If this were actually possible to achieve, that would be one thing, but this is just throwing money into a black hole people.

A professor of evolutionary biology gets invited to a debate on Intelligent Design. His letter declining the invitation is a thing of beauty.

    I wonder how long until the UK (and AUS, etc.) figure out that blacklisting doesn’t do squat to stop child porn, and then follow the lead of repressive south east Asian nations and try to implement whitelisting instead.

    (I expect Canada will at some point try something similar, citing CanCon instead of child pr0n).

    You shouldn’t have said anything! People will “think of the children!” no matter how silly the thoughts are … the CanCon has to start somewhere.

    I fear it may have just started here.
