The morning coffee will enjoy its hedonism

In giant-software-companies accusing each other of antitrust news: Google goes after Microsoft on the browser front. This confuses me, as Microsoft’s browser dominance continues to slip, despite Internet Explorer continuing to be the dominant browser. Why would Google start something like this, when they are likely to face the same type of scrutiny on the web advertising front? The European Commission does not exactly have a track record of ruling in Microsoft’s favour — why not just let them get on with it and reap the rewards?

This goes for Microsoft, too, which has spearheaded antitrust investigations against Google. Do these companies not realise that they undermine themselves as much as each other when they do this?

One of several fantastic images that can be found over at My Modern Metropolis:

The photos are by Koen Demuynck. It is definitely worthwhile to click on the image above, and check out the whole set.

The AppGap presents argument that socialising at work is productive, and your boss should stop claiming that you are goofing off — you are maximizing your potential.

Today’s webcomic is from cat and girl:

    @Liz
    I quite agree. My desire to write some sort of additional comment on it was trumped by my speechlessness.
