The morning coffee: rain, spiders and electricity

March 19th, 2009

Yesterday was day one with the Internet back and a reformatted laptop. Still today the Morning Coffee was nearly suspended due to a power outage. But the power is back, all is safe, and the coffee is on! Enjoy.

This morning’s news comes in children’s rhyme form:

The itsy-bitsy spider climbed up the water spout.
Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Colorado’s water accountants accused the spider of stealing someone else’s rain,
So the spider fled to Tulsa and scared some banana buyers – hey!

You may have heard that the Sci Fi channel in the US is changing its name to “SyFy”. This blog entry presents some better options. My favourite? We’re Worried That You’re Still In Your Mom’s Basement Because That’s Not Really The Demographic We’re Looking For Channel.

Also: Blow-up sex dolls as fashion.
