Maggie-A-Day

Apparently we do not have enough going on in our life here, because we have embarked on a new project: Maggie-A-Day.

The idea is simple enough: I will take and post a photo of Maggie every day, until she is old enough to understand how uncool this project happens to be.

In practice, we are already behind schedule.

The observant among you will notice that today is day thirty-two. There are not thirty-two (or even thirty-one) photos in that gallery. There are two entries for day one and day seven.

So, yes, it is imperfect, and it will be marked by further imperfections — times when I must go away for a week on work; when Maggie goes away without me (hopefully not for a while); the inevitable dead batteries; broken, lost or forgotten-at-home cameras; lazy days where I just don’t get around to it.

Although we will certainly be lying about any days that fall into this last category.

So keep your eyes on the Flickr. Near-daily updates.

Or at least weekly updates in which I put up a bunch of photographs that belong with the project.
