Consider: if they can’t make another ghostbusters movie with the original cast, they’ll have to assemble an all new cast and /remake/ Ghostbusters. Zedmore will almost certainly say “Aw *hell* no!” at some point. Slimker will be played by Jack Black. Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together… mass hysteria!
So it’s not Ghostbusters 3 or nothing, it’s Ghostbusters 3 or Ghostbusters: The Shia Le Beouf version.

@curgoth – the difference being that I would actually watch a Ghostbusters III, but wouldn’t bother with a remake.
I fear a third instalment may just be two hours of my life I can never get back. A remake would have no impact on me whatsoever.
