Our Roomba is broken.
This is not a new situation; our magical robot vacuum machine has been broken for a long, long time.
But Karen and I have recently decided to part ways with our cleaners, and take on cleaning house ourselves. Suddenly the lack of Roomba means an increase in effort that needs to be put forth.
So, for the first time since the good folks at iRobot Europe gave me the cold shoulder when I first attempted to get a quote for the cost of a Roomba repair, I am trying to figure out how to get the thing fixed. Enter imayne, who appear to be on the up-and-up, rather than some sort of broken-robot-gathering scam.
But, in searching for Roomba things online, we also found this excellent gallery of Roomba light art.
In addition to being gorgeous, it’s just a brilliant idea — long exposure robot photography looks (hopefully) to be in my future.
Also, Roomba-riding-cats abound on the internet.
