Every summer, over the last weekend in August, the people of London descend on Notting Hill for the Carnival. It’s great fun, and everybody acts a little crazy:
Some streets fill with parades full of bright colours and scant clothing.
Others fill with a mass of people — dancing, drinking, eating:
It’s crowded and exhausting, but fun. Last year I missed it for the first time since I moved to London — these photos are from 2007 — This year, I hope to go back.
For some reason, the news is not entertaining me this morning — which means more blog content for you!
