One of the (many) things we love here at the Big Bad Blog is breakfast. The two things that are best about breakfast are – fairly clearly – coffee and maple syrup.

Coffee, of course, is number one. We all need a caffeinated jump-start to our day.

Maple syrup may be a more controversial number two, in a world that contains bacon. But we think the evidence stacks up. Pancakes. Waffles, French Toast. All made perfect by the sweet, sticky syrup we pour on them. And that bacon? Better with syrup.

What does this have to do with our advent calendar, you ask?

Some genius has apparently combined our two favourite things about breakfast, and come up with caffeinated maple syrup. It’s probably a bad idea. But it’s a great idea. And it’s gift idea #20.

It turns out that attractive female passengers get singled out to go through those body scanners at airports. Colour us at the Big Bad Blog surprised – we could never imagine airport security agents abusing their power like that.

No, wait. This is exactly what we thought would happen. Instead, we would like to congratulate America’s TSA on meeting our extremely pathetic expectations.
