Time for tea
And Doctor Who, of course.

Can you tell I’m excited that Doctor Who is back?
Have I mentioned that Doctor Who is back?
Doctor Who?
Is back?
Who?

Like everybody else I know, I am looking forward mightily to the Doctor Who Christmas Special this year. The Doctor’s new companion will be unveiled (except for the fact that she was in the first episode of the last series, of course), which means that it will not be one of those specials with a one-off Doctor’s companion.
But I happened to see this the other day:

And now I think we all agree that the Doctor should have two very special guest stars as one-off Companions next Christmas.

If you’re here, you probably like a lot of the same things I like. Geeky things, perhaps.
And, if you’re like most people, you probably don’t have a job doing something that you’re passionate about — maybe involving that very same geeky stuff I mention above.
Don’t you think it was about time that changed?

Some of you may be familiar with Salvador Dalek (above), a knit Dalek created by my friend Sarah for Maggie.
Maggie loves Salvador, and so do I. In fact, if you take away the thank fuck, this is keeping her entertained and thank fuck, this is helping her to fall asleep properties of some of her other toys, Salvador comes out way on top, in my estimation. It really is the ultimate toy:
Hard to beat, yes?
Yes. But not impossible. There is now a new generation of knit Dalek, looking to push out the old. EXTERMIKNIT!
