Morning coffee XI
Countdown to the Super Bowl this Sunday! In its honour, roman numerals are now being used to identify which Morning Coffee you are reading.
The Super Bowl is one of four sporting events that I try to watch. (The others? The Olympics, the Stanley Cup finals, and the World Cup.) I figure I’m probably not alone in this. However I (like you?) have not been following football this year. As a quick football refresher, this space will include Super Bowl related links all week.
The Superbowl is being played between the Arizona Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Steelers this year. The Cardinals have not won in a long, long time. Like all professional sports franchises in North America with a long history of losing, this streak involves a curse. At least there are no goats in this curse.
My favourite news article of the day has a title worthy of the Onion: New lingua france upsets French.
No real blogs today, but some Blews: Google on “Google Bombs”.
The image of the day is now here!
